With the development of livestock husbandry and transportation in our country,the occurrence of animal infectious disease becomes more frequent.In the industry,for the sake of preventing from these infectious diseases and unilaterally pursue the quantity of the livestock product,existing a great deal of illegal acts such as:using antibiotic,chemosynthesis drug and hormones,resulted in the animality food is remaining pathogen microbe and drug the double threat.For the safety of food,traditional Chinese herbal medicine come from nature,have definite efficacy,little poisonous side effect,can be used safely,will have great value in clinic.This experiment chooses several traditional Chinese herbal medicines in common use such as:Radix Astragali,Radix Isatidis,Rhizoma Coptidis,and Radix Scutellariae. Compare the effect of abstraction driven from herbal and different combinations of herbals, especially about the immunomodulatory activity in vivo and antiviral effect in vitro.The following are our experiments:1.Extract astragalus polysaccharides;add to Newcastle oil-emulsion vaccine as an immune adjuvant,compared with the astragalus polysaccharides injection and astragalus polysaccharides powder,measure the anti-body producing,the increase of weight,the spleen,bursa of Fabricius exponents,and the proliferation of splenic lymphocytes in vitro. Evaluate the influence to immunomodulatory function of different type astragalus polysaccharides;2.By testing of inhibition to cytopathogenic effect(CPE),compare Radix Astragali with Radix Isatidis the antiviral activity to PRRSV(porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus)and PPV(porcine parvovirus)in vitro.3.By testing of CPE,study the anti-NDV(Newcastle Disease virus)activity of Radix Astragali,Radix Isatidis,Rhizoma Coptidis,Radix Scutellariae,and Cortex Phellodendri.4.By testing of CPE,study one compound recipe soup antiviral activity to IBV (Avian infectious bronchitis virus)and IBDV(Infectious bursal disease virus)in vitro. The compound recipe soup is composed mainly of Rhizoma Coptidis,Radix Scutellariae, Radix Isatidis,Radix Astragali,camelliae and Radix Glycytthizae.From the experiment we can draw a conclusion:1.The astragalus polysaccharides of different type of elixir all raised the immunomodulatory activity of vaccine,the astragalus polysaccharides mixed with vaccine as immune adjuvant can obviously promote anti-body producing,the spleen,bursa of Fabricius exponents and the rate of E-rosettes; 2.Radix Isatidis has obvious inhibition to PPV and PRRSV,Radix Astragali has little effect when they are used alone,and when used together the effect can be enhanced;3.Radix Astragali has little anti-NDV effect,Radix Scutellariae and Radix Isatidis have better inhibition effect.Particularly,to Radix Isatidis,its Minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC)and minimal stop concentration(MSC)is 0.155mg/ml.Compound recipe's effect is most outstanding,the MSC is 0.061mg/ml;4.The compound recipe soup anti-IBDV effect is worse,but is more outstanding to IBV M and T strain.The results showed that Radix Isatidis,Radix Astragali,Rhizoma Coptidis,Radix Scutellariae all have antiviral effect,immune enhancement,by appropriate combining,the antiviral effect can be further strengthened.
