The Experimental Research Of Mechanism Of Action Of Peptic Powder From The 《Formularies Of The Bureau Of People Welfare Pharmacies》

Method: (1)40 SD rats were randomly and controlled divided into four groups: Control group(group C),Model group(group M),Peptic Powder group(group P) and Self-recovery group(group S).10 rats in everyone group. The model of dampness retaining in the middle jiao rats was made with Rhubar. In 18 days we made the model of dampness retaining in the middle jiao rats to group M, group P and group S. And then, in 14 days we applicated Peptic Power cure the group P. At the same time, the group C and the group S were gave physiological brine.(2)Firstly, measured weight. Secondly, The levels of T-Superoxide Dismutase (T-SOD), Maleic Dialdehyde(MDA), in stomach tissue and serum gastrin (GAS) dampness retaining in the middle jiao rats were determined by xanthine oxidase method, thibabituric acid colorimetric method, and radio- immunoassay(RIA), respectively. Results: (1)WEIGHT: the group P increased significantly WEIGHT as compared with the group S (P<0.05).(2)T-SOD: the group P increased significantly T-SOD as compared with both group M,group S and group C (P<0.05).(3)MDA; GAS: the group P decreased significantly MDA; GAS than both group M and group S(P<0.05). There was no significantly difference between group P and group C (P>0.05). Conclusion: the mechanism of action of Regulating gastrointestinal function and eliminate excessive water from the body about Peptic Powder is (1)Peptic Powder can increase the weight of dampness retaining in the middle jiao rats syndrome significantly. (2)Through increasing T-SOD and decreasing MDA in stomach tissue of dampness retaining in the middle jiao rats syndrome, that Peptic Powder can clear up free radical to alleviate the impairment of stomach tissue.(3)The Peptic Powder can increasing hormone of digestive-serum gastrin(GAS) effectively. And then, protect and nourish the function of gastric mucosa, to improve the irregular, function of alimentary tract recovery normal.
