Study Of Applied Anatomy Of Abdominal Aorta | | Posted on:2008-09-02 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:R G Liu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2144360218960247 | Subject:General surgery | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective To investigate the applied anatomic data of the infrarenal abdominal aorta of adult corpse anatomy and imageology. To explore the length and diameter of the infrarenal abdominal aorta and the relation between the body height and the length of the infrarenal abdominal aorta, supplemen the domestic data of abdominal aortic anatomy and provide the evidence to direct the treatment of abdominal aortic disease. Methods To dissect fifty health adult corpses(33 male ,17 female)and measure the corpse's height, the length of the infrarenal abdominal aorta, the length of left and right common iliac arteries. The aortic diameter of the position on the infrarenal abdominal aorta is measured and the height is compared between the lelt and right renal artery at the same time. On the other hand, the diameter of abdominal aorta at the level of renal artery and diameter of iliac artery are measured by constrast spiral CT scanning film without vascular disease. All data is analysed by statistical analysis software SPSS11.5.Result The mean length between the infrarenal abdominal aorta and its bifurcation is 90.1±8.32mm. The mean diameter of the infrarenal abdominal aorta is 17.89±3.25mm. The analysis based on the anatomical data indicates that the body height in different gender has highly significant linear regressions and correlations with the vessel length from the infrarenal abdominal aorta to its bifurcation and the one from the infrarenal abdominal aorta to femoral artery bifurcation. The coefficient of regression was tested by T test and analysis of variance(P<0.05), The coefficient of correlation r>0.6. but there is not significant difference between the body height and the infrarenal abdominal aortic diameter(P>0.05).The analysis based on the data of imageology show: the means anteroposterior and transverse diameter of the infrarenal abdominal aorta are 15.53±2.39mm and 15.03±2.09mm. The means diameter of left common iliac and right common iliac artery are 8.47±1.05 mm and 8.59±1.17 mm.Conclusions Study of applied anatomy of the infrarenal abdominal aorta will supplement the domestic data of abdominal aortic anatomy. It will also provide an important data for urgent endovascular aortic repair and open operation in patients with rupture abdominal aortic aneurysm. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Abdominal aorta, Renal artery, Anatomy | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
