Recurrent oral ulcer(ROU) is one pattern of manifestation of diseases of oral mucosa. Its clinical manifestations are some isolated,round and elliptical exulceratio simplexs,with conspicuous burning sensation.There are different cognition and categorization about ROU between traditional Chinese medicine and medical doctors,however,they both apply topical and systemic treatment.Compound Qingkou granula is a new prescription of taditional Chinese medicine,which consists of fifteen herbs such as pueraria thomsonii benth,gypsum and rehmannia dride rhizome,ect.Therefore it can be chiefly used to treat ROU ect,with the guidance of the theories of traditional Chinese medicine.And it is one of Compound which can treat ROU utility and generally.Qingkou Granula was studied with modern pharmaceutical technology.On the basis of effective components and parts as well as the characters of components of the herbs, traditional decoction was transformed into granules by the best extractional condition.This research mainly studied on the preparing technique of Qingkou Granula. The technology of optimum extraction was selected by using orthogonal design which used quite a few assessing norms to select conditioned comprehensively. The research of extraction was to select conditioned parameter of water-extract technique. Meanwhile middle test enlargement and qulity standard were finished. The content of puerarin in pueraria thomsonii Benth was determinated by HPLC. The content limitation was defined.The content of puerarin be more than 0.75 mg in sugar granula of Qingkou and free-sugar granule of Qingkou. Moreover the research used TLC to identify Pueraria thomsonii Benth,mulberry leaf,rehmannia dride rhizome,barbary wolfberry fruit and glossy privet fruit.Then the preliminary stability was fulfilled on the basis of controllable quality standard,the resule showed that the product was steady in the observation period of three months.The results indicated that the technique of preparation was reasonable and practical,the standard of quality was controllable and the quality of the sample was steady as well.The results of this study can establish stable foundation for developing new traditional Chinese medicine to cure recurrent oral ulcer ect.
