Objective: To investigate the expressions of Survivin,p53 and bcl-2 in uroepithelium carcinoma tissues, and their correlations with uroepithelium tumor malignancy. Methods: The expressions of Survivin,p53 and bcl-2 in 54 cases of uroepithelium carcinoma ,10 cases of normal bladder mucosa tissues and 15 cases of control surrounding tissues were assessed by immunohistochemistry, and their correlations with uroepithelium tumor malignancy were statistically analyzed. Results: The expressions of the three proteins in uroepithelium carcinoma were higher than in normal bladder mucosa and control surrounding tissues, as the positive rate of Survivin in uroepithelium carcinoma was 70.37%,p53 was 57.41%,and bcl-2 was 46.30%. The expressions of Survivin and p53 were significant difference among the difference pathological grades (P <0.05) .It was also found that there were significant difference in the expressions of Survivin and p53 among the difference clinical stages (P <0.05) .There was significant negative correlation between the positive expression of bcl-2 with the pathological grades and the clinical stages (P <0.05) .There was significant positive correlation between the expressions of the Survivin and p53;but there was significant negative correlation between the expressions of the Survivin and bcl-2 (P<0.05) .Conclusion: The Overexpression of Survivin in uroepithelium carcinoma tissue indicates it may play an important role during the development of uroepithelium carcinoma ; The high expression s of Survivin and p53 in uroepithelium carcinoma could be regarded as indications of poor prognosis There are close relations among Survivin,p53 and bcl-2 ,and have the potential clinical value.
