Objective:1.To explore the interaction of CEP55 expression in bladder Uroepithelium cell carcinoma and normal bladder tissues with its Clinicopathological characteristics.2.To explore the significance of CEP55 in diagnosis and treatment of Uroepithelium cell carcinoma of bladderMethods:1.Imuunohistochemistry(IHC)was used to test the expression of CEP55 in 50 cases of bladder Uroepithelium carcinoma(male 38 and female 12)and 30 cases of normal tissues near the bladder uroepithelium cancinoma(male 20 and female 10),and he interaction of its expression with patients’ Clinicopathological characteristics was analyzed.2.32 cases of bladder Uroepithelium carcinoma patients’ fresh surgical resection specimen and18 cases of normal mucosal tissues were collected to test the expression level of CEP55 by western blot analyses after protein extraction.Results:3.The positive expression percentage of CEP55 in bladder Uroepithelium carcinoma tissues was 54%,which was much higher than 16.7% in normal bladder tissues(p<0.05).50 cases of bladder Uroepithelium carcinoma patients were analyzed after classification according to genders, ages, tumor TNM staging and differentiation, which turned out that there was no significant difference between positive expression ratio of CEP55 and patients’ genders or ages(p>0.05),but it had a close relationship with patients’ tumor TNM staging and histological classification group(p<0.05).Conclusions:CEP55expression level in bladder Uroepithelium carcinoma tissues is significantly higher than in normal bladder tissues which is related to patients’ histological classification and TNMstaging(p<0.05).So CEP55 may play a critical role in bladder Uroepithelium carcinogenesis. Moreover, its positive expression level in muscle-invasive bladder Uroepithelium carcinoma tissues is much higher than in non-muscle-invasive bladder Uroepithelium carcinoma tissues, which suggests that CEP55 might be related to the invasion of bladder Uroepithelium carcinoma.
