Changs Of Urine Dynamics Of The Harnal Combined With Proscar Treatment For Chronic Nonbacterial Prostatitis

Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Harnal in combination with Proscar for the treatment of chronic nonbacterial prostatitis. Methods After bacterial culture test and Expressed Prostate Secretion ( EPS) examination, 60 patients with Chronic Nonbacterial Prostatitis were recruited and randomized into three trial group(15 cases /group) and a control group (15 cases). In the trial group, the patients used the only Harnal;only Proscar and Harnal in combination with Proscar in the base of Prostat therapy during the first 4 weeks and during the following 4 weeks. In the control group, the patients used Prostat therapy during the first 4 weeks, and during the following 4 weeks. Before and 4 and 8 weeks after the treatment, the patients were visited and evaluated by the national institute health chronic prostatits symptom index (NIH-CPSI) , the maximum flowates(MFR),residual urine(RVU) and asked about the side effects. Results Before the treatment , arerage CPSI 17.34±0.03,95% confidence interal (95%CI ) 16.73～17.95;After 4 week treatment ,arerage CPSI 11.30±0.26, 95%CI 10.77～11.83,CPSI dropped by 5.98±0.48 ;After 8 week treatment, CPSI 9.86±0.25, 95%CI 9.36～10.25,CPSI dropped by 7.39±0.45.There was significant difference between the four groups. F=8.524, P<0.05 . Before the treatment , average RVU 18.23±1.38, 95%CI 15.47～20.99;After 4 week treatment ,arerage RVU 10.00±0.99,95%CI 7.80～12.00,dropped by 7.39±0.45 ;After 8 week treatment, RVU 5.15±1.07, 95%CI 3.00～7.30,dropped by 1.27±0.85.There was significant difference between the four groups. F=12.037, P<0.05 . Before the treatment , arerage MFR 13.04±0.23, 95%CI 12.59～13.49;After 4 week treatment ,arerage MFR 14.42±0.25, 95%CI 13.92～14.91,rised to 1.38±0.29 ;After 8 week treatment, MFR 15.83±0.18, 95%CI 15.48～6.18,rised to 2.77±0.33.There was significant difference between the four groups. F=49.181, P<0.05. There was significant difference between pretreatment and posttreatment in the four groups ( P <0.05) , And there was significant difference in the test of within-subjects contrast,F=5.057 (P <0.05) . The difference of Pairwise Comparisons was not significant between A,B,C (P >0.05), while was significant betweenA,D (P﹤0.05).No serious side effects were recorded. Conclusion Hanal combined with Proscar,will be an effective aid of therapy for chronic prostatitis.Hanal in combination with Proscar can effectively relieve the symptoms with nonbacterial prostatitis and well deserves effectively to be adjunctive therapy in clinical practice.
