1. ObjectiveThrough the clinical observation and laboratory tests on hemodialysis patients, observe the Relationship between the nutritional status and syndrome differentiation of TCM to lay a solid foundation for the syndrome standardization and further study of malnutrition.2. MethodCollect case strictly in accordance to the standards from the maintenance hemodialysis patients in our hospital. Record the patient's symptoms by using the designed information-collecting table. According to the diagnostic criteria of syndrome of TCM, diagnose each patient's syndrome of TCM before inviting two attending physicians to make sure the diagnosis. Research the relationship between the nutritional status and syndrome differentiation of TCM by studying on the result of laboratory tests.3. ResultThe result show that the spleen-kidney Qi deficiency was the most common syndrome, then qi yin deficiency, spleen kidney yang deficiency and liver kidney yin deficiency, the Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome is rare. Blood Stasis Syndrome is the most. The blood Stasis and pneumatic Syndrome is rare. Though the result of laboratory tests Within the normal range, the patient' s distribution range is large. Malnutrition is common. The prealbumin's level of primary Deficiency Syndrome shows that there was no diffrence among five groups (P>0.05). The albumin's level of primary deficiency syndrome shows that there was significant difference among five groups (P<0.01) while the qi yin deficiency was the highest.. The Cholesterol's level of primary Deficiency Syndrome shows that there was no diffrence among five groups (P >0.05). The Transferrin's level of primary deficiency syndrome shows that there was significant difference among five groups (P<0.01) while the qi yin deficiency was the highest.. The levels of prealbumin and cholesterol in excess in superficiality syndrome show that there was no diffrence among five groups (P>0.05). The levels of Albumin and Transferrin in excess in superficiality syndrome shows that there was difference among five groups (P<0.05) while the qi yin deficiency was the highest. The multiple comparison of Albumin' s level among the five primary deficiency syndromes show that the Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome comparing with the other four groups had difference(P >0.05). The multiple comparison of The ttransferrin's level among the five primary deficiency syndromes show that there was no diffrence between the yin and yang deficiency syndrome and liver kidney yin deficiency (P>0.05). But there was difference among the Yin and Yang deficiency the other three groups groups (P<0.05). There are no difference among the spleen-kidney Qi deficiency syndrome, qi yin deficiency and the spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome. 4. ConclusionThis study find that the spleen-kidney Qi deficiency was the most common syndrome, then qi yin deficiency, spleen kidney yang deficiency and liver kidney yin deficiency, the Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome was rare. Blood stasis syndrome is the most. The blood Stasis with pneumatic Syndrome is rare. It means that the spleen-kidney Qi deficiency syndrome and the blood stasis syndrome were the most common syndrome among the maintenance hemodialysis patients. The laboratory tests Within the normal range are mostly the results of what the patients we collect have 3 times Hemodialysis a week. If more case are brought into the research, malnutrition is common. There are difference among the five primary deficiency.syndromes in the conmparation of Albumin and Transferrin. It means that there was different nutritional status in different syndromes. The level of Albumin and Transferrin is the highest in the patients with Qi yin deficiency syndrome. While The level is the lowest in the patients with yin yang deficiency syndrome. The level of Albumin and Transferrin is the lowest in the patients with blood Stasis and pneumatic syndrome. Then the multiple comparisons shows that the level of Albumin in the patients with yin yang deficiency syndrome was lower than other groups. The level of Transferrin in the patients with yin yang deficiency syndrome was lower than the spleen-kidney Qi deficiency, qi yin deficiency and spleen kidney yang deficiency. The level of Transferrin in the patients with liver kidney yin deficiency syndrome was lower than the qi yin deficiency. There are no differences in the multiple comparison of excess in superficiality syndrome.
