Resaerch On The Treatment Protocols Of Myasthenic Crisis With Integrated Traditional Chinese And Western Medicine And Inducement

Objective:Myasthenia gravis crisis(MGC)is very serious disease.In clinical,there are many myasthenia gravis patients died of MGC.The main sypmtoms are scant of breath,swallows difficult and four limbs asthenia.Three types of MGC contain myasthenia crisis,cholinergic crisis and brittle crisis.Myasthenia crisis is most common.The study research the treament of MGC with integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and the main inducements for preventing the disease.By analyzing the therapeutic efficacy of TCM-WM on MGC,it is effective to treat is for rescue and treat MGC with the treatment protocol of TCM-WM.In addtion, By analyzing the inducement of MGC,carry out defense measures to preventing the crisis.Methods:1.37 clinical data of 30 patients with myasthenia gravis crisis between May,2004 and December,2006 were evaluated in a retrospective study.According the study data to get the inducements of MGC.On the other hand,to analyze The symptoms,therapeutic(TCM-WM),prognosis and so on,the study drafted the TCM-WM treatment protocols.In addtion,by comparison with reported data in literatures,the study analysised the curative effct.2.12 clinical data of 10 patients with MGC between January,2007 and March, 2008 were evaluated in a prospective study,with the treatment protocols from the retrospective study,by comparison with reported data in prospective study and the literatures,the study analysised the curative effct.3.SPSS11.5 statistical software package proceeds were used for statisitics analysis.Results: 1.The results of retrospective study:the inducements of MGC contians infection,improper use of drugs,psychic trauma,overfatigue and so on.the main inducement factor is infection,contains respiratory tract infection, pulmonary infection,gastrointestinal infection.2.Therapeutic results of retrospective study:(1)Rescue methods:7 clinical data with respiration(14.3%);35 clinical data with oxygen inhalation(71.4%);25 clinical data by gastric tube(51.0 %);successful rescue rate of prospective study is 100%.(2)Rescue time:1d～100d,average time(10.97±6.09)d.(3)Therapeutic efficacy:Total effective rate is 100%,no mortality.(4)Main symptoms improvement:improvement of scant of breath,swallows difficult,four limbs asthenia and facial muscles weakness,after the reform(P＜0.01)).3.Therapeutic results of prospective study:(1)Rescue methods:7 clinical data with respiration(58.3%);9clinical data with oxygen inhalation(75.0%);9 clinical data by gastric tube(75.0 %);successful rescue rate of prospective study is 100%.(2)Rescue time:2d～30d,average time(10.42±8.47)d.(3)Therapeutic efficacy:10 clinical data is improvement,2 mortality total effective rate is 83.3%,mortality rate is 16.7.The reasons of mortality:one died of falling injury,the other is abandoning treatment, and died of multiple organ failure.(4)Main symptoms improvement:improvement of scant of breath,swallows difficult,four limbs asthenia and facial muscles weakness,after the reform(P＜0.01).Conclusions:The treatment protocols of myasthenic crisis with integrated traditional chinese and western medicine improves the successful rescue rate,shorten the course of the disease and improving symptoms of patients,the protocols is significant clinically significant.In addition,improving the compliance of patients and doctors,meanwhile,controling the inducement and carry out preventive measures is very improtant to preventing MGC.
