| Objective:To study the relation between EphA2 protein expression and tumorigenesis,development,infiltration and metastasis of large intestine adenocarcinoma.Methods:The expressions of EphA2 protein in 120 cases of large intestine adenocarcinoma and in paired normal large intestine mucosa tissues were detected by usingi mmunohistochemistry(SP).Results:Expressions of EphA2 protein in large intestine adenocarcinoma tissues were obviously higher than that in normal large intestine mucosa tissues(P＜0.001).EphA2 were highly expressions in endothelium of blood vessel in large intestine adenocarcinoma tissues and no expressions in endothelium of blood vessel in normal large intestine tissues.The overexpression of EphA2 protein correlated with diferentiation grades,invasion depth and gross type of carcinomas(P＜0.05),but didn't with age,sex of patients and lymph node of adenocareinomas (P＞0.05).Conclusion:1.EphA2 were highly expressions in large intestine adenocarcinoma tissues.2.There is a correlation between EphA2 protein overexpression and tumorigenesis,development,infiltration and metastasis of large intestine adenocarcinoma.
