Objective:By detecting the concentration of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and insulin-like growth factor-Ⅱ(IGF-Ⅱ) in the treatment of infertility in patients on the day of retriving oocyte serum and follicular fluid in vitro fertilization and embryo transplantation,To study on the relation between vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),Insulike growth factor(IGF-Ⅱ) and the ovarian response,the outcomes of embryo transfer in IVF females.Methods: Sixty ovulatory women with infertility caused by unknown origin or tubal factor were included in this study from 2006.7 to 2008.1. The gonadorelin antagonist protocol was operated in IVF cycles. Granulosa cells were obtained from follicular aspirates during oocyte retrieval.According to the number of oocyte retrieval, the patients were divided into three groups: high responders (oocytes≥14), normal responders (oocytes 4-13) and poor responders (oocytes≤3). There is no age diference in three groups. Blood samples were collected before the day of injecting FSH,on the day of injecting hCG, on the day of retriveing oocyte,Follicular fluids were obtained on the day of retriveing oocyte,The VEGF concentrations of all specimens were measured by ELISA, The IGF-Ⅱconcentrations of all specimens were measured RI,And recorded the outcome of embryo transfer.Results:1.During the program of controlled ovrian hyperstimulation,the VEGF concentration became gradually higher along with the developing of follicles and came to higher level on the day of oocytes retrival.2.The VEGF concentrations were different in different responders of controlled hyperstimulation (COH).The VEGF concentrations in serum of low-responders were lower than that of the others(p<0.05). All the patients in the follicular fluid were significantly higher than that of VEGF levels in peripheral blood.The IGF-Ⅱconcentrations were different in different responders of controlled hyperstimulation (COH). There was no significant difference in different responders of controlled hyperstimulation (COH).(P> 0.05). All the patients in the follicular fluid were significantly lower than that of IGF-Ⅱlevels in peripheral blood.3. The good embryos rates were high in the oocytes with high FF VEGF concentrations(P<0.05). the gifted embryo group IGF-Ⅱlevels were higher than the inferior group embryo level of IGF-Ⅱ, it exists significant difference in the gifted embryo group and the inferior group embryo. 4.The VEGF and IGF-Ⅱconcentrations were higher in the group of pregnancy(P<0.05). 5.levels of VEGF and IGF-Ⅱin follicular fluid of opu have positive correlation (r = 0.667. P <0.001).Conclusions:VEGF can forecast the ovarian response, VEGF and IGF-Ⅱmay effect the quality of early embryo and the outcomes of embryo transfer, According to the concentration of VEGF and IGF-Ⅱfollicular fluid,we can forecast the outcomes of embryo transfer more accurately,The clinical pregnancy rate of higher VEGF and IGF-Ⅱcases is higher than that of lower VEGF and IGF-Ⅱcases .
