Object: To approach the effects of Misture of Thoracic obstruction on protein kinase C's expression in myocardium of diabetic cardiopathy rats. Through experimental works the curative effects and mechanism of the treatment and prevention of diabetic cardiopathy had been studied. Methods: Diabetic rat model was established by feeding high calorie diet and streptozocin-induced(STZ), and randomly divided into normal control (N), model group(M),Tong Xin Luo control group (C), low dose of Misture of Thoracic obstruction group (A1),mid-dose group (A2), high dose group (A3). After 4 weeks, injected pituitrin to induce myocardial ischemia. To observe the effects of Misture of Thoracic obstruction on blood glucose, blood fat, structures changes in diabetic rat heart, and expression of PKC.Results:The rats in the M group showed that TC,TG and LDL are obviously increased compared with the N group, and HDL depressed. The activity of PKC sharply depressed in endochylema, increased in cellular membrane. A2 group, A3 group has satisfactory hypoglycemic activity, but much less than the C group. C group and A3 group has significantly effects on the regulation of blood fat. Compared with M group, Misture of Thoracic obstruction can protect the structure of diabetic myocardiuma. A3 group and C group have remarkable inhibition on transposition and activation of PKC.Conclusions: (1) Compared with Tong Xin Luo, Misture of Thoracic obstruction has satisfactory effects in decreasing glucose. (2)Misture of Thoracic obstruction can regulating blood fat. (3)Misture of Thoracic obstruction have remarkable inhibition on transposition and activation of PKC. (4)Misture of Thoracic obstruction can protect the structure of diabetic myocardiuma.
