Objective: Through the empirical research that to treat rats with injury of jawed cervical nerve roots by carrying manipulation of mechanical vibration out with home-made automatic machine of manipulation, to observe curative effect and illuminate mechanism of action of it.Method: One hundred and twenty Wistar rats were allo- cated randomly equally to three groups that each ones had forty rats, namely the first group being treated by manipulation of mechanical vibration, the second one being treated by injecting NGF , the third one with injury of cervical nerve roots .Each group was divided into four subgrouds. Namely the subgrounds of 7d,14d,21d and 28d. Each subgroud has ten rats. only when incision of rats already healed up after one week, we could do these experiment. we could observe gait of rats and behave in experiment of grasping ground and measuring diameter of forelimbs of them, and in the same time we could detect vivo starboard brachial plexus by electrophysiology, submandibular gland by the way of immunity and chemistry. Results: There is marked diversity in observational index of three groups (P<0.05 in t-test),Conclusions: It effectually prevented and cured sweeny controlled by injuried cervical nerve roots, and speeded functional recovery of rats' right upper extremity. At the time, it speeded rat' glandula submandibularis to excrete NGF and blood of injuried nerve to circulate.
