Intestinal tract permeability was changed in the major damages which caused by the intestinal mucosa. The damages of the intestinal mucosa more common in retention of Damp-heat in the interior, symptoms often suffered from diarrhoea, abdominal pain, or constipation, and even in the grume puriform row mucus stool. The intestinal mucosal barrier was an important interface with the body contact inside and outside, which would be caused in a variety of inflammatory intestinal disorders when under the intestinal mucosa damaged of the various parameters. In particular, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, with colitis, and someother infections as well. The intestinal mucosal barrier would be improved and played an important role in the cure of these diseases . We have a prescription with Traditional Chinese Medicine of Changyanqing, it could perform the actions of clearing away heat and wet, regulating qi and activating blood, strengthening spleen-qi and acesodyne, convergence bleeding, growth muscle for intestinal mucosa. The pharmacological effects of some studies had testified that Changyanqing had certain antibacterial, pain relieving, anti-diarrhea and against bleeding, inhibiting the intestinal mucosa damage effects as well as hemostasis and enhancing immunologic function, and promoting ulcer repair and enhancing the body eliminate free radicals and antioxidant capacity, regulating the immune function of the disorder. Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of Changyanqing on the retention of Damp-heat in the interior, or weakness of the spleen and stomach, or part poor gas line and blood stasis card type, known or unknown caused the damage to the intestinal mucosa that improves the situation and the intestinal mucosa, intestinal damage permeability changed in the impact.Method: Sixty cases of colon mucosa injured patients were equally randomized into two groups. Thirty cases of out-patient physical examination again, as a healthy control group. The treatment group (n=30) received Changyanqing , and the control group (n=30) received the Mesalazine Enteric-coated Tablets only. The treatment lasted 6 weeks. The changes of the Traditional Chinese Medicine syndromes, repairing intestinal mucosa under electronic colonoscopy, diamine oxidase, D-lactic acid and comprehensive clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment were observed. Results: The healthy persons of the diamine oxidase was 1. 96±0. 21U/ml, and the D-lactate was 4. 71±0. 29mg/L. In the case group with mild to moderate severity, colonoscopy mucous membrane lesions I grade level and grade II patients diamine oxidase,D-lactic acid, the difference was significant (P<0.01). The two groups before and after treatment in the effect of Tradition Chinese Medicine major symptoms scores, there were a statistically significant difference (P<0.01); The two groups as compared with that after treatment, the difference being significant(P<0.05) . In the effect of repairing intestinal mucosa under electronic colonoscopy scores, the difference was significant (P<0.01); The two groups as compared with that after treatment, the difference was not obvious (P>0. 05). The two groups after treatment, the total effective rate of Tradition Chinese medicine symptoms and the comprehensive clinical evaluation in the treatment group were 90%, there were 80% in the control group, the difference being insignificant between the two groups (P>0. 05). The diamine oxidase and D-lactic acid of the two groups were compared with that before the treatment, the difference was significant (P<0.01); and the after treatment of the two groups, the difference was not obvious (P>0.05); and the treatment group after treatment compared with the normal control group, the difference being insignificant (P>0.05); and the control group compared with the normal control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05).Conclusion: Changyanqing could effectively reduce the clinical symptoms, inhibit the intestinal mucosa damage, repair the damage of the intestinal mucosa, reduce intestinal tract permeability, and improve intestinal mucosal barrier functions. There was close connection between intestinal mucosa damaged and intestinal tract permeability.
