Objective:The present study is designed to contrast the different clinical effects of the T-lymphocyte subsets' adjustment in peripheral blood of patients with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma between the methods of the Ozone therapy and normal chemotherapy,and to provide a new way to treat lymphoma.Methods:There are 67 patients with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma being derided into two groups randomly.Treating group of 37 patients is given Ozone therapy during the chemotherapy, combined with major O3 auto-haemoyherapy and rectal O3 gas insuffiation.Contrasting group of 30 patients is given the same chemotherapy separately.Each is given two cycles.The quantities of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+ in peripheral blood,the ratio of CD4+/CD8+,and IFN-r and IL-4's expression in CD4+T lymphocytes are detected by FCM to reflect the quantities of Th1,Th2,the ratio of Th1/Th2.At the same time evaluate the clinical effect,and change of tumor-makers: LDH andβ2-MG.Result:(1)Compared with the normal controls peripheral CD3+,CD4+,Th1 cell and CD4+/CD8+,Th1/Th2 ratio reduce,while the CD8+ cell increased,Th2 cell has no obvious changes in patients of NHL.(2)After treatment,CD4+,Th1 cell and CD4+/CD8+,Th1/Th2 ratio have increased markedly,CD8+ cell have lowered obviously,CD3+,Th2 cell have no obvious changes;LDH,β2—MG have lowered in treating group.(3) After treatment,CD3+,CD4+,CD8+ cell,CD4+/CD8+ ratio have no obvious changes;Th1 cell,Th1/Th2 ratio have lowered, Th2 cell has increased;LDH has lowered,β2—MG.has no significent changes in contrasting group.(4) After treatment,treating group's CD4+,Th1 cell,CD4+/CD8+,Th1/Th2 ratio are higher than contrasting group's;while CD8+,Th2 cell,LDH andβ2-MG of treating group are lower than those of contrasting group's;CD3+ has no significent changes.(5) The treating group's complete response(CR) is 64.9%.Partial response(PR) is 29.7%and CR+PR is 94.6%. The contracting group's CR is 40.0%and CR+PR is 70.0%.Compare with the two groups, treating group's CR and CR+PR have significantly increased.Have the statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclution:The initial patients of NHL have immune suppression in their bodies,we can see this point from the imbalance of T-lymphocyte subsets CD4+/CD8+,and the differentiation from lymphocyte CD4+ T to Th1 has reduced obviously,the imbalance of Th1/Th2 shift to Th2 side.After the chemotherapy the imbalance ratios of CD4+/CD8+,Th1/Th2 have increased.From this point we can see that the immune function of the patients of NHL has reduced much further. After combined O3 in the treatment,the imbalance ratios have reduced.O3 improves the immune funtion of the patients of NHL.After the Ozone therapy,the lymphoma tumor-makers:LDH,β2 -MG have reduced obviously,this is a negative correlation of the improvement of the immune function;CR and CR+PR have improved significently,this is a positive correlation of the improvement of the immune function.Compare Ozone therapy with normal chemotherapy,it can improve the patient's immune function and clinical effects of the NHL.
