Objective: Dyslipidemia is the important risk factor of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, stork and hypertension. Many reaserches indicated that the occurrence and development of dyslipidemia is influnenced by genetic and environmental factors comprehensively. To investigate the serum levels of atherogenic lipoproteins in Kazaks and Mongolians. To observere the differences existed in the serum levels of lipoproteins in Kazaks and Mongolians, and to analyze the influence factors of the serum levels of low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and non-high density lipoprotein cholesterol(non-HDLC).The expected studying results will be used as scientific proofs to prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular disease.Materials and Methods: A randomized cluster sampling was performed to obtain a representative sample of population in Xinjiang Hefen pastoral area, including 325 Kazaks and 307 Mongolians. The content of epidemiological questionnaire included disease history, smoking status, alcohol use,The blood pressure ,heart rate, height and weight of each individuals were measured.A total of 632 individuals aged 30 and older received blood lipid test by automatic biochemical instrument, including measurement of the serum levels of blood total cholesterol ( TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C).The serum levels of low density lipoprotein cholestero(lLDL-C)and non-high density lipoprotein cholesterol ( non-HDLC ) was calculated according to the formula.Through statistical analysis, the differences existed in the serum lipids in these two nationalities and the influence factors of non-High density lipoprotein cholesterol could be observered. Results: The prevelence rates of dyslipidemia and the serum lipids in Kazaks and Mongolians were different. The serum levels of atherogenic lipoprotein(non-HDLC) among different age group, BMI group and blood pressure group were significantly different. The influence factors of the serum levels of non-HDLC in these two nationalties were variant. The serum levels of non-HDLC in Kazaks were associated with systolic blood pressure(SBP), but, these in Mongolians were associated with body mass index(BMI).Conclusion: The differences existed in the serum lipids in these two different nationalities.Although these two different nationalities share same living habits and labor way, the influence factors of atherogenic lipoprotein were different.
