Objective:Observe Transurethral Resection of the Prostate(TUVP)and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound(HIFU)on the change of caspase-3,caspase-7 andα1A-ARmRNA in prostate tissue,discuss the effect of thermal damage on the expression of apoptosis effective factor caspase-3,caspase-7 andα1A-ARmRNA in prostate tissue.Methods:In our study we enrolled 30 patients with symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)undergoing TUVP and 6 BPH patients were treated by HIFU as experimental group;we also enrolled 15 BPH patients undergoing suprapubic prostatectomy as control group.Immunohistochemistry methods were used to detect the expression of caspase-3,caspase-7,according to expressive positive rate,staining were grated on:"-"<10%,"+"10%~30%,"++"31%~70%,"+++">71%.Though RT—PCR method detect the expression ofα1A-ARmRNA in sample.Results:1.Make use of immunohistochemical method detect expression of caspase-3,caspase-7 in every group sample.Find the expression of caspase-3,caspase-7 in control group is obviously fewer than TUVP group(P<0.01),HIFU group between in the two groups.They almost express in prostatic secretory epithelium and stroma cell,but seldom seen in prostatic smooth muscle cell.2.Make use of gel Image Processing system analysisα1A-AR/β-Actin/β-action have difference in every group.The relative value of control group is maxium,TUVP group is minimum,HIFU group is between in the two groups.(P<0.05)Conclusion:Our study supports TUVP and HIFU etc.thermal damage treatment can promote prostate tissue apoptosis.
