The Traditional Chinese Medicine Literature Study Of Premature Ovarian Failure

Objective:To explore the etiology,pathogenesis and the laws of treatment for premature ovarian failure(POF).Methods:We selected traditional Chinese medicine journals and books,and used computer technology and statistics.With computer technology,a database of etiology and pathogenesis was founded.At the same time,80 formulas were gathered from traditional Chinese medicine journals and books used for treating the disease in purpose to offer some useful references for POF treatment.Further more,the frequency of herbs was analyzed by statistic method.Besides this the most frequently used herbs were selected too.Result:Summarizes the main etiology and pathogenesis of POF and poses six basic methods of treating for POF.We think this findings will be able to provide the useful model material and important principals for the more effective treatment POF,and will direct clinicians well too.
