| Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of the arthros- copic debridement for treatment of the patients with different stages of osteoarthritis of the knee.Methods:67 cases of knee OA patients were classified into early, middle and late stages according to X-ray Kellgren-Lawrence classification standards and using of Outerbridge arthroscopic classification standards ,and knee OA patients in different periods were treated of the corresponding arthros- copic debridement All patients are followed up for an average period of 18.6 months. The subjective satisfaction ,Visual analog scale (VAS) and United States Install and Ranawat scoring system (HSS) are performed function scoring in preoperation and the final follow- up.The early, middle and late knee scoring is evaluated by horizontal comparison through t tests; between different periods of operation t before and afte knee scoring is evaluated by longitudinal comparison hrough F tests, and we assess the efficacy of arthroscopic debridement on OA in olders,we can choose the best timing of operation of OA arthroscopic debridement. Results:The clinical scoring before and after surgery of the each phase OA horizontal comparison is significant difference (P <0.05); Improving degree of different period OA vertical comparison is significant difference (P <0.05). Subjective assessment of early satisfaction and general is 20 cases (68.9%),7 cases (24.1%) respecively; medium-term satisfaction and general is14 cases (58.3%), 5 cases (20.8%) respecively; f late satisfaction and general is 3 cases (21.4%), 2 cases (14.2%) respecively. Conclusions:Arthroscopic debridement is good for early and some mid- term osteoarthritis, and it is the best indication for short duration, a sudden onset and knee swelling, snapping joints, joint locking. |
