The Influence Of Xintong Capsules On Unstable Angina Patients And The Level Of Plasma ET-1

Objective:To discuss the elementary pathogenesis of unstable angina pectoris with the syndrome of Blood stasis due to Qi deficiency and Phlegm and the method of supplying qi and activating blood circulation and dispelling phlegm to treat unstable angina pectoris,study the curative effect mechanism of Xintong Capsule on clinical symptom and ET-1 level in patients and discuss part of its clinical mechanism.Methods:A total of 60 unstable angina pectoris patients with the syndrome of Blood stasis due to Qi deficiency and Phlegm were observed. They were divided into two groups at random.The treatment group and the control group both had 30 patients.There was no obvious difference in age,sex,illness course and severity degree between the two groups.The treatment group received Xintong Capsule treatment.The control group received tongxinluo Capsule.The changes of clinical symptoms and plasma levels of ET-1 in all patients were observed before and after treatment.Results:The treatment group was better than control group in overall effective rates of unstable angina pectoris(90.00%vs 86.67%)and electrocadiogram effective rate(86.60%vs 90.00%).But there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).At the aspect of treatment effect of traditional medicine,both groups could ameliorate the symptoms of angina pectoris of type Blood stasis due to Qi deficiency and Phlegm such as chest pain,chest distress,short breath and so on.But between the experiment and control groups there was no significant difference.The control group was better than treatment group in the effective rate of reducing use rate of Nitroglycerin(83.33%vs 86.67%).But there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).In endothelium function,ET-1 decreased.They were better and had remarkable difference than before treatment(P＜0.01).Compared between the two groups,there was no statistical difference.In side effects,no obvious and serious side effects were found.Conclusions:Xintong Capsule has specific effect in treating unstable angina pectoris patients with the syndrome of Blood stasis due to Qi deficiency and Phlegm.It operates through improving myocardial ischemia and regulating endothelium function.It is a safe and effective preparation and it is worthy to be studied deeply.
