The Expression Of TLR2 And TLR4 In Peripheral Blood Monocytes Of The Patients With Sj(?)gren's Syndrome

Objective:To study the expression of toll like receptor2(TLR2) and toll like receptor 4 (TLR4) in peripheral blood monouclear cells(PBMC) of patient with Sjogren's syndromeMethods:We chose 24 sj(o|¨)gren's syndrome(SS) patients and10 healthy controls.Accord -ing to ESR and CRP,24 SS patients was divided inio two groups:active group(17 individuals),non-active group(7 individuals).We compared the expression of TLR2 and TLR4 in peripheral blood monouclear cells among SS of active group,non-active group and hleathy control group by flow cytometry.Then according to renal tubule acidosis,we divided 24 SS patients into 2 groups:group with renal tubule acidosis(7 individuals),group without renal tubule acidosis(17 individuals),and compared the expression of TLR2 and TLR4 between two groups.According to thyroid hypofunction,we divided 24 SS patients into2 groups:group with thyroid hypofunction(6 individuals),group without thyroid hypofunction(18 individuals), and compared the expression of TLR2 and TLR4 between two groups.We analyzed the correlation between TLR2/TLR4 and IgG,ESR,CRP,C3,C4.Results:1.The expression of TLR2/TLR4 in SS patients was significantly higher than healthy controls(P＜0.05).2.The expression of TLR2/TLR4 had no difference between SS of active group and non-active group(P＞0.05).3.The expression of TLR2/TLR4 had no difference between group with thyroid hypofunction and group without thyroid hypofunction(P＞0.05).4.The expression of TLR2 in group with renal tubule acidosis was higher than group without renal tubule acidosis(P＜0.05).5.There were no correlation between TLR2/TLR4 and IgG,ESR,CRP,C3,C4 in SS patients.Conclusion: 1.The expression of TLR2/TLR4in SS patients was significantly higher than healthy controls.The result indicated that ligand-TLR2/TLR4 signal pathway have participated into SS pathogenesy.2.The expression of TLR2/TLR4 had no difference between SS of active group and non-active group(P＞0.05).There were no correlation between TLR2/TLR4 and IgG,ESR,CRP,C3,C4 in SS patients.The results indicated that the expression of TLR2/TLR4 had no correlation with disease activity.3.The expression of TLR2 in group with renal tubule acidosis was higher than group without renal tubule acidosis.The result indicated that endogenous and exogenous ligands participated into the process of renal tubules injury by TLR2...
