ObjectiveTo explore the risk factors of deep venous thrombosis, and evaluate the relative importance of each risk factor, then provide scientific guidelines for deep venous thrombosis's prevention and diagnosis.MethodsA hospital based case-control study was carried out.125 patients with deep venous thrombosis remedied at the first affiliated hospital of fujian medical university from January 1, 2008 to October 31, 2008 were enrolled, and 125 controls without deep venous thrombosis were selected remedied at the same hospital. Separately investigate age, sex, height, weight, total cholesterol, triglyceride, FIB, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, cerebrovascular accident, DVI, infections, pregnancy ,recent surgery, bed-ridden history and other relevant circumstances. All the data were evaluated by using univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis to assess factors associated with DVT and final main effect functions were built.ResultsBy univariate analysis, age, cancer, recent surgery, bed-ridden history, infection, and FIB were associated with DVT.When multivariate logistic regression analysis was applied, only age, cancer, recent surgery, bed-ridden history and FIB were associated with DVT.ConclusionsThis study shows that DVT have the relationship with many factors like age, cancer, recent surgery, bed-ridden history and FIB.We should take some effective ways to control the exposure of these risk factors and may prevent the occurrence of deep venous thrombosis.
