Smilax china L.popularly known in China as "Jin Gang Teng",belongs to the Liliaceae family. It is commonly used Chinese medicine, which was collected in the "the Chinese pharmacopoeia"in 2005 version,It has various pharmacological effects including relieve sickness wet and disintoxication and so on.In China it has been extensively used for clinical treatment of anti-inflammatory,anticancer and antioxidant activity. On clinic,it used to in the treatment of the various gynecological inflammation diseases very obviously.By the methods of sovent extraction, the author got ethyl acetate, n-butanol sites and tannin, and determined the anti-inflammatory fractions after pharmacological experiment, methods inflammation caused by albumen, xylene and PEG2.The extraction technology was investigated and the reliable parameters were got in this article. The author gived some research to macroporous resin and choose the best one to purificated total flavonoids, total saponin and total tannin from Smilax china L.With modern analysis technology, more systematic research was used on the extract, including character identification,TLC,limitation, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the extract of Smilax china L. Above all, standards were studied for controling the quality, with which can insure the quality of the extract effectivly. In order to probe into the distributing of the effective composition from the extract of Smilax china L.,we have detected the ingredients in the rat serum, where gallic acid and resveratrol can be found.Such research can provide reference for the compositional basis of the Smilax china L exploration.
