The Clinical Study Of Treating Peripheral Menopause Syndrome (PMS) With The Decoction Of Geng-An

Objective: To study the therapeutical effect of the decoction of Geng-An on peripheral menopause syndrome (PMS), and to explore its action mechanism. Methods: Weselected 58 patients with PMS, observe the clinical symptoms' improvement after treatmentand detect the concentrition of E2,FSH,LH,β-EP,IL-2,LPO in the blood. Results: The clinical symptoms are significantly improved and the clinical total efficiency is 98.28%.The improvement of Kupperman scores is very significant (P<0.01). After treatment, the concentrition of FSH, LH in the blood is lowered, while the concentrition of E2 in the blood is raised (P<0.05). The concentrition ofβ-EP,IL-2,LPO is significantly evaluated after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusions: The decoction of Geng-An has extremely precisely therapeutical effect on PMS. It can effectively wipe out such peripheral menopause syndrome as hectic fever and sweating fret and wakefulness.And the mechanism might be related to regulating theneuroendocrine-immune Network as a whole. It is an effective recipe in treating of renal deficiency and stagnation of liver-ql patter of peripheral menopause syndrome.
