Objective: In this study, mainly through the observation of influence on Visual Analogue Scale of dysmenorrheal patients by acupuncturing Sanyinjiao(SP6), Xuanzhong(GB39)and non-point, to confirm the existence of specificity on Meridian acupoint, non-Meridian acupoint, and different meridian acupoints in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, and to analyze the mechanism of Sanyinjiao(SP6) on primary dysmenorrhea .Methods: 47 patients of primary dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into three groups, including acupuncturing Sanyinjiao group 14 cases, Xuanzhong group 21 cases and non-acupuncture point group 12 cases. Observe the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) between before acupuncture and acupuncture intervention in the cycle of one month with symptoms of dysmenorrhea, and compare the differences between the three groups. Results: Acupuncture Sanyinjiao in improving Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) of dysmenorrheal patients is superior to the Xuanzhong acupoint and non acupuncture point. There was no significant differences between Xuanzhong acupuncture group, and non-acupuncture point. group. Thereby confirming the existence of specificity on Meridian acupoint, non-Meridian acupoint, and the different Meridian acupoint in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, and that the specificity of Meridian point is closely related to Meridian .
