Objective:When acupuncture Waiguan and Zulinqi points in the health of young people,at different time points, use TCD to observe the anterior cerebral artery(ACA) hemodynamic changes. Then,we can explore the effect of acupunture of Waiguan and Zulinqi points. Methods:Subjects were 13 young healthy volunteers(7 men,6 women, aged 19 to 26 years old).We evaluated the peak velocity of systolic(Vs),the peak velocity of diastolic(Vd),the velocity of mean(Vm),the pulsate index(PI) and the resistance index(RI) of the anterior cerebral artery(ACA) before, during and after the acupuncture of Waiguan and Zulinqi points by appling TCD.Results:The peak velocity of systolic(Vs) and the velocity of mean(Vm) of the anterior cerebral artery(ACA) are increased during the acupuncture of Waiguan and Zulinqi points(P<0.05).The peak velocity of diastolic(Vd) is increased when acupuncture Waiguan and Zulinqi points(P< 0.05 ).However, the pulsate index(PI) and the resistance index(RI) did not change obviously (P>0.05).Conclusion:The acupuncture of Waiguan and Zulinqi points could raise the velocity of the anterior cerebral artery(ACA).However, the residual effect of acupuncture was not obvious.
