Psychological Factors And Personality Characteristics Analysis Of Patients With Oral Lichen Planus

Purpose:Approach the psychological factors and personality characters of patients with oral lichen planus,provide rationale for the pathogenesy and treatment of oral lichen planus.Methods:We measured 60 patients with oral lichen planus and 34 people as control group using self-rating anxiety scale, self-rating depressive scale and Eysenck personality questionnaire.Oral lichen planus classified as anabrosis and non-anabrosis,the course of disease classified as less than or equal for 3 years and exceed 3years.The data was analyzed by SPSS 11.0.Results:1.We found the score of oral lichen planus patients(47.13±7.80) obviously higher than the control group(42.00±6.91) by self-rating anxiety scale.The results had significant statistical deviation(P＜0.01).The symptom rate of SAS among oral lichen planus patients was 36.67%,which was higher than that of control group(14.70%),(P＜0.01).The score was no deviation(P＞0.05) between anabrosis(47.67±7.77) and non-anabrosis(46.56±7.70).The score had statistical deviation(P＜0.01) between the course of disease less than or equal for 3 years(44.24±4.55) and exceed 3 years (50.92±9.49).The coefficient correlation between the course of disease and self-raring anxiety scale was(r=0.3048, p=0.0179＜0.05).2.We found the score of oral lichen planus patients(51.20±11.26) obviously higher than the control group(43.35±8.48) by self-rating anxiety scale.The results had significant statistical deviation(P＜0.01).The symptom rate of SDS among oral lichen planus patients was 46.67%,which was higher than that of control group(14.70%),(P＜0.01).The score was no deviation(P＞0.05) between anabrosis(54.42±10.67) and non-anabrosis(49.06±11.28).The score had statistical deviation(P＜0.01) between the course of disease less than or equal for 3 years(47.94±10.08) and exceed 3 years(55.69±11.22).The coefficient correlation between the course of disease and self-raring depression scale was(r =0.5376,p=0.001＜0.05).3.The P,E,N,L of Eysenek personality questionnaire was:P(58.93±13.96),E(50.77±9.81),N(51.87±8.74),L (50.67±9.27) in oral lichen planus patients,and was P(50.88±9.08),E(52.94±6.78),N(47.35±11.30),L(47.65±11.30) in control group.The score of P and N had statistical deviation(P＜0.01) between oral lichen planus and control group,the score of E and L had no statistical deviation(P＞0.05)Conclusions:1.Patients with oral lichen planus have higher score and higher positive rate of anxiety and depression than control group,they tend to anxiety and depression.The tendency is more and more obviously as the course of disease raising.The has no difference in tendency of anxiety and depression between anabrosis and non-anabrosis.Doctor should pay attention to the psychological factors of patients with oral lichen planus,especially the patients with long course of disease.2.Oral lichen planus patients have psychoticism and neuroticism personality characteristics.Psychoticism personality characteristics may be lonely,not to be concern about others,hard to adapt milieu exterieur,lack of sympathy, adherence,stubborn,provoke,and so on.Nervousness personality characteristics may be have unstable felling,have fervent emotional reaction,and may have unreasonable behavior.
