From fore research can be found that sand therapy can benefitted the OA and accelerate blood flow. The purpose of us research is: Research the femur mechanical properties of arthritis rabbit changes and the femoral artery blood flow changes in treatment of sand therapy. In order to simulated the environment of the Tulufan, the most importance part of the sand therapy is heating the sand, the temperature of top surface of the sand can reach 72℃, and at the depth of 5 cm the temperature with 56℃, 10cm with 39℃, this condition was familiar with Turfan, and finally the experimental data and finite element analysis results were compared. And then doing the sand therapy, the proceed are as following: Right knee of New Zealand rabbit fixed six weeks by plaster, and take it off after six weeks, then the rabbits were divided into two different groups, sand therapy group, control group, the sand therapy group was treated in sand therapy for 20 days, the control group did not treat in any way, after 20 days, it was measured the femoral artery blood flow parameters of the rabbit, then the work pieces were sand therapy group with seven work pieces, control group with five work pieces. After compression experiment,σ-εcurves were gotten,Then FEM method was used to analysis the stress cloud and the deformation cloud; Discussion: (1) The temperature between experiment and FEM analysis have little difference, from the FEM result, it can be find that the temperature distribution are diversity, which is below 25mm, the temperature of the sand below 52 degree, and the temperature on the surface of the sand distribution from 72 degree to 49 degree, meanwhile the temperature for sand therapy are demanded sharply, so the sand should mix well, and then doing the sand therapy. (2) The sand therapy group showed high compressive and bend strength. Control group stress lower than sand therapy group; After the surface materials destroyed, the work pieces from sand therapy group still can bearing large load, it can match the property that bone material is a typical multi-storey composite materials; From the stress cloud, it can also found that long axle suffer larger stress that the short axle, the work piece was more likely destroyed from the long axle, it can match the experiments. Result: sand therapy can improve the mechanical property of the bone; it can prove that sand therapy can improve femur mechanical properties of arthritis rabbit. (3) There is relationship between the disease and the barricade of the blood circulation. The barricade of the blood circulation leads the change of hemodynamic. Sand therapy make the artery blood flow velocity become fast and diminish the vascular resistance, this may be the reason that sand therapy play one of the importance role of anti-inflammatory effects; meanwhile, blood flow increase with the blood velocity. From the FEM, it can be see clearly that the blood flow forward spirally contribute to wash the vascular wall, and diminish the impurity accumulation in the vascular wall. Sand therapy increased the velocity of the blood, the spiral forward effect are more obviously.
