The Clinical Research On External Fixation Porsture Of Supination-eversion Fracture Of Ankle

Objective:To explore the best external fixation posture of ankle fracture of Lauge-HansonⅢ°andⅣsupintion-eversion after manipulative reduction with a view to heightening the clinical curative effect and reducing the incidence of traumatic arthritis.Method:according to our selection standards,42 patients,followed up with periodical visits, were selected for this test and were randomly divided into two groups.One was fixed to the posture with inversion,internal rotation and plantar flexion,the other was fixed to the posture with inversion,internal rotation and dorsiflexion.Each patient was followed up with visits for 6 to 18 months.The AOFAS Scoring was adopted to evaluate the clinical outcomes of the two groups. Moreover,through a statistical comparison of complications,the short-terms clinical effects of these two groups and their relevant factors come up for evaluation.Results:Both groups were followed up with visits for 6 to 18 months.According to the AOFAS Scoring,for the group of plantar,results were as follows:excellent in 16 cases,good in 3 cases,fair in 2 cases,poor in 0 case,with the excellent rate 90.48%;while for the group of dorsiflexion:excellent in 9 cases,good in 8 cases,fair in 4 cases,poor in 0 case,and the excellent rate being 80.95%.So there was obvious difference between two groups(P＜0.05).The same was in the case of their AOFAS Scores,as follows:the group of plantar was 91.62±6.53,and the group of dorsiflexion was 85.24±8.43.The complications in the near future:there were 2 cases with stiffness of joint in the plantar flexion group;and there were 3 cases ached and 1case with stiffness of joint in the dorsiflexion group.So there was obvious difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion:In terms of the near-future clinic curative effects,the posture with inversion, internal rotation and plantar flexion exceeds the one with inversion,internal rotation and dorsiflexion with plaster after manipulative reduction.
