AIM:To investigate the roles of transforming growth factorβreceptor TypeⅡ(TβRⅡ) and matrix metalloproteinase-7(MMP-7) expression in the invasion and metastasis of human hereditary nonpolyposise colorectal cancer(HNPCC).METHODS:Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expressions of TβRⅡand MMP-7 protein in 20 cases of sporadic colorectal cancer(SCRC) and 20 cases of HNPCC,and their corresponding clinical data were analyzed retrospectively.RESULT:The average optical(AO) of TβRⅡand MMP-7 expression in HNPCC were 0.0955±0.0429 and 0.1205±0.0543,in SCRC wHH 0.1195±0.0296 and 0.1900±0.0534,7βRⅡand MMP-7 expression in SCRS were higher than HNPCC(p<0.0R).TβRⅡand MMP-7 expression were closely related to the depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis,but not to the sex of patients,tumor size and position.The expression of MMP-7 was increased significantly in tissues with ectoptygma invasion and metastasis.CONCLUSION:TβRⅡand MMP-7 are differently expressed in HNPCC and SCRC.The expression rates and intensities of TβRⅡand 0 0 P—7 arHRbviRus(?) highH in SCRC than those in HNPCC...
