The Expression And Significance Of CRP And IL-12 In The Patients With Premature Rupture Of Membrane

Objective:To investigate the different expression of CRP (C-reactive protein) and IL-12(interleukin-12) in maternal blood and cord blood,and the latter in fetal membrane in premature rupture of the membranes(PROM) with and without chorioamnionitis.To discuss the relationship between CRP,IL-12 with PROM and chorioamnionitis,then to estimate their clinical value in predicting subclinical chorioamnionitis.Methods:To choose 30 case of normal pregnancy women term in labor,30 case of preterm premature rupture of membranes(PPROM) and 30 case of term premature rupture of membranes(PROM).CRP and IL-12 levels of the maternal blood and cord blood were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorborbent assay(ELISA).The expression of IL-12 in the fetal membranes were examined by immunohistochemical assay.Results:(1)The expression of CRP in maternal blood and cord blood in PPROM group was higher than TPROM group(38.43±8.64ug/ml Vs 25.74±9.86ug/ml,16.20±8.81ug/ml Vs 10.94±4.41ug/ml, P＜0.05),were higher than normal group(P＜0.05).(2)The expression of IL-12 in maternal blood and cord blood in PPROM group was higher than TPROM group(359.58±23.67 pg/ml Vs 298.71±21.86 pg/ml,286.25±22.98 pg/ml Vs 250.36±20.11 pg/ml,P＜0.05),were higher than normal group(P＜0.05).(3)As the long time of the rupture of the membranes,the expression of CRP in maternal blood and cord blood in＞12 hours group was higher than＜12 hours group(61.69±6.16ug/ml Vs 22.57±4.4ug/ml,27.27±4.39ug/ml Vs 10.36±5.17ug/ml,P＜0.05);the expression of IL-12 in maternal blood and cord blood in＞12 hours group was higher than＜12 hours group(480.94±20.03 pg/ml Vs 285.8±21.77 pg/ml,328.76±23.54 pg/ml Vs 242.98±21.35 pg/ml, P＜0.05).(4)The level of CRP and IL-12 in the maternal blood and cord blood were step up by the degree of chorioamnionitis.(5) The expression of maternal blood IL-12 levels 256.37 pg/ml CRP levels 15.11 ug/ml were regards as the diagnosis threshold value of chorioamnionitis, sensibility were 84%and 80%,specificity were 76%and 60%.(6)The expression of IL-12 in fetal membranes in PPROM group and PROM group ware higher than normal group,and as the more long time of rupture,the degree of chorioamnionitis the levels were more higher,were have the positive correlation,r=0.528.Conclusions:1.CRP,IL-12 are the sensitivity,specificity index in early predictive value in chorioamnionitis,the value of diagnosis with IL-12 is higher than CRP.2.CRP,IL-12 are correlated with neonatal infection.
