Study On The Relationship Between The Expressions Of PAF-R And VEGF In Villous Tissues And Early Spontaneous Abortion

Objective:Through investigating the level of the platelet-activating factor receptor(PAF-R) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in early normal pregnancy and early spontaneous abortion patients,we explore the role of PAF-R and VEGF in early spontaneous abortion.Methods:Collecting samples from obstetrics and gynecology in Xiangya Hospital and provincial maternal and child health care hospital, including normal flow of 30 cases of early pregnancy(normal pregnancy group),30 cases of threatened abortion(threatened abortion group),30 cases of missed abortion(missed abortion group) for the study,dating from September 2007 to September 2008;investigating the histological localization of PAF-R,VEGF in villous tissues of the patients in all of the three groups and do quantitative analysis at the same time via immunohistochemistry.Results:(1) Expression of PAF-R,VEGF are found positive in villus tissue in all of the three groups.(2) Normal pregnancy group, threatened abortion and missed abortion group relative PAF-R expression were 0.42±0.09,0.36±0.08,0.31±0.09,normal pregnancy group PAF-R expression was significantly higher than the two abortion groups (P＜0.05);threatened abortion group PAF-R expression was significantly higher than that of missed abortion group(P＜0.05).(3) Group of normal early pregnancy,threatened abortion and missed abortion group relative VEGF expression group were 0.43±0.08,0.36±0.06,0.31±0.10,normal pregnancy VEGF expression group was significantly higher than the two abortion groups(P＜0.05);threatened abortion VEGF expression group was significantly higher than that of missed abortion group(P＜0.05).(4) The expression of PAF-R and VEGF are positively correlated in normal pregnancy group,threatened abortion group and missed abortion group(P＜0.05),with a correlation coefficient of 0.664,0.717,0.636.Conclusions:(1) In early pregnancy,low expression of PAF,VEGF may be a cause of early spontaneous abortion.(2) PAF-R and VEGF expression was positively correlated in villous tissues,PAF-R may have reduced incidence of early spontaneous abortion through effecting VEGF expression.
