Objective:To investigate the superoxide dismutase(SOD) and advanced oxidation protein products(AOPP) in materal blood and cord blood between the fetal distress and neonatal asphyxia.Methods:Maternal blood and cord blood were collected from 40 patients who were delivered as emergent cesarean section for fetal distress(the fetal distress group),other 40 patients who were delivered by an elective cesarean section(the control group) for the detection of SOD and AOPP.At the same time,detect the PH and BE in cord blood gas analysis.Fetal distress and neonatal asphyxia were investigated in the two groups.Results:(1) The concentration of SOD and AOPP in maternal blood:①SOD concentration was higher in the fetal distressed group than in control group(125.33±10.33 KU/L vs 103.56±9.16 KU l/L,P<0.05);②AOPP concentration was higher in the fetal distressed group than in control group(139.89±12.82μmol/L vs104.67+11.63μmol/L,P<0.05).(2)The concentration of SOD and AOPP in cord blood:①SOD concentration was higher in the fetal distressed group than in control group(135.47±13.54 KU/L vs 112.36±12.87 KU l/L,P<0.05);②AOPP concentration was higher in the fetal distressed group than in control group(139.52±17.28μmol/L vs109.56±11.67μmol/L,P<0.05).(3)The relationship between the duration of fetal distress and SOD,AOPP in the cord blood and maternal blood:①The concentration of SOD is changing with duration of fetal distress,in fetal distressed group the expression of SOD in severe fetal distress group is significently lower than that in the slight group(P<0.01).②abnormality fatal monitoring had no correlation with the concentration of SOD or AOPP both in maternal blood and cord blood,P>0.05;③In meconium-stained amnioticⅡ-Ⅲ,the concentration of SOD in cord blood were lower while the concentration of AOPP(P>0.05) were significently higher(P<0.05=than that in meconium-stained amnioticⅠ,in concentration of SOD,AOPP in maternal blood had no significently differences between meconium-stained amnioticⅡ-ⅢandⅠ(P>0.05).(4) The PH and BE of the cord blood gas analysis in severe fetal distress group is lower than either slight group or normal group(P<0.01,P<0.001),There is significant difference with BE between the slight group and normal group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The concentration of SOD,AOPP in materal blood and cord blood in the fetal distressed group is higher than the control group.2.To study the concentration of SOD,AOPP in materal and cord blood and the cord blood gas analysis is useable for the evaluation of fetal distress or neonatal asphyxia.
