| Objective:To observe the protective effect of Gualou Xiebai Banxia Decoction(GXBD) on acute myocardial ischemia(AMI) rats,and investigate its mechanism initially.Methods:The left anterior descending coronary artery of rats was ligated to make a model of acute ischemic myocardium.Rats were treated with different concentration GXBD,and negative and positive were established. (1) Segment ST of electrocardiogram(ECG)Ⅱwere observed as the indexes of the AMI improvement in the medical group.(2) The level of creatine kinase(CK) and CK-MB in serum were measured.(3) Blood would be collected for assaying the plasma endothelin(ET) and the serum nitric oxide(NO) after the myocardial ischemia models being set up for one hours..(4) Microscop examination was used to investigate the myocardial pathomorphology.Result:Compared to model group,GXBD could significantly descend the elevation of segment ST,obviously reduce the level of CK and CK-MB in the serum(p＜0.01 or p＜0.05 ).It could significantly decrease contents of the plasma ET,and markedly increase level of serum NO in AMI rats (p＜0.01 or p＜0.05 ).It could ameliorate myocardial pathomorphological changes in AMI rate(P＜0.01,P＜0.05 respectively).While low dosage of GXBD could ahead of schedule high dosage of GXBD.Conclusion:(1) The experiment showed GXBD could obviously protect AMI rats,which might be correlated with its dosage and its action of time.(2) One of mechanicas of GXBD on protective effects of AMI rats might ameliorate vascular endothelial function.(3) Effects of GXBD on protective effects of AMI rats maybe associate with function and construction of improving ischemic myocardium, enhancing blood circulation and imprveing the blood supply of the heart muscle.
