A Clinical Symptomatological Research On Yang-deficiency Syndrome Of Chronic Renal Failure

Objective:This evidence-based clinical research of yang-deficiency syndrome of chronic renal failure inquires into the connection between yang-deficiency syndrome of chronic renal failure and the complications that accompany chronic renal failure,the relationship between different syndromes of chronic renal failure such as yang-deficiency and qi-deficiency,the correlation between yang-deficiency syndrome and its related test results in order to prompt its cause and progress.Methods:Divide 117 case studies of chronic renal failure into one group of 46 cases of yang-deficiency and another group of 71 cases of non-yang-deficiency.Then,observe test results for temperature,standard blood tests,Liver and kidney function,Thyroid gland function,Urine protein,addiment,etc for the two respective groups.Use clinical epidemiology and mathematical statistical methods to analyze any connection between yang-deficiency syndrome of chronic renal failure and its stage;connection between yang-deficiency syndrome and its related disease;connection between yang-deficiency,qi-deficiency and/or other TCM syndromes;connection between yang-deficiency syndrome and relative test results.Results:(1) There is no clear relationship between whether chronic renal failure is caused yang-deficiency syndrome or not,and which stage chronic renal failure is.(2) There is a clear relationship between whether chronic renal failure is caused yang-deficiency syndrome or not,and whether its related disease such as coronary heart disease,gout and hypercholesteremia exist or not;there is no clear relationship between whether diabetes is caused yang-deficiency syndrome or not,and whether its related disease such as hypertension,diabetes,etc.exist or not.(3) There is a clear relationship between whether chronic renal failure is caused by yang-deficiency syndromeor not,and whether its TCM syndromes such as qi-deficiency syndrome,yin-deficiency,WAIGAN exist or not;there is no clear relationship between whether chronic renal failure is caused by yang-deficiency syndrome or not,and whether turbid-damp,and damp-heat,and other syndromes exist or not.(4) There is a clear relationship between whether chronic renal failure is caused by yang-deficiency syndrome or not,and its relative test outcomes for PALB and TT3;there is no clear relationship between whether chronic renal failure is caused by yang-deficiency syndrome or not,and other tests such as T,HB,MCV,TP,ALB,BUN,SCR, SG,UTP,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C,TT4,FT3,FT4,TSH,C3,IGG..Conclusion:(1) Chronic renal failure with yang-deficiency syndrome,is always presented with coronary heart disease and hypercholesteremia,but gout.(2) Chronic renal failure with yang-deficiency syndrome,is easy with WAIGAN in biaoshi,but hardly with qi-dificiency syndrome and/or yin-deficiency in benxu.(3) Chronic renal failure with yang-deficiency with low PALB and low TT3.
