Clinical Study On YiQiWenYang Decoction In The Treatment Of Deficient Cold Of Spleen And Lung Of Allergic Rhinitis

Purpose: To observe the clinical effect of Yiqiwenyang treatment to allergic rhinitis, and provide an experimental basis for clinical treatment of allergic rhinitis, then explore the most effective way to treat allergic rhinitis.Method: Clinical research: 97 objects meeting the standards were chosen and objects were divided into two groups: one group taking orally Chinese herbal Yiqiwenyang, another group taking orally cetirizine. After 2 and 4 weeks, they were compared between before and after taking the medicine, and also between the groups.Results: After 2 weeks, for the traditional Chinese medicine group, there are appreciable effects for 3 objects, general effects for 25 objects, no effects for 21 object. The total effective rate is 57.14% . For the western medicine group, there are appreciable effects for 5 objects, general effects for 26 objects, no effects for 17 objects. The total effective rate is 64.58%. After 4 weeks, for the traditional Chinese medicine group, there are appreciable effects for 15 objects, general effects for 27 objects, no effects for 7 object. The total effective rate is 85.71% . For the western medicine group, there are appreciable effects for 17 objects, general effects for 23 objects, no effects for 8 objects. The total effective rate is 83.33%. After follow-up visited the objects who finished the observe and acquired effects 3 months later, the traditional Chinese medicine group's relapse rate is lower than the western medicine group. It shows that all the two kinds of medicine have treatment effects and high effective rates.Conclusion: Yiqiwenyang is effective in treatment allergic rhinitis and more effectively in AR with deficient cold of spleen and lung. Yiqiwenyang has the advantage of systemic symptoms improving, and have nearly toxic action. It is worthy generalizate it to clinical treatment for allergic rhinitis.
