The Research On Standardized Terminology Of Traditional Chinese Drugs Effect

ObjectiveCulture of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) goes back to ancient times, has been lasting on for 5,000 years in history. TCM theory is broad and profound, and it has accumulated massive data. Chinese Herbs Information System (CHIS) is integrated by the mass and raw data. Because of zone, epoch, the editors' cognition and statements used are different, even in the authoritative literature of TCM it also often appears with a non-standard phenomenon of the same concept, which sets up many obstacles to the full use of information. Therefore, how to regulate and unify information system in the original data has become an urgent need to address the problem. This thesis is based on the background, researching on standardized terminology of Traditional Chinese Drugs effect in CHIS. MethodsBy the literature research, we choose "Clinic terminology of traditional Chinese medical diagnosis and treatment-Therapeutic methods" and "Research on standardized terminology of Traditional Chinese Drugs -part of effect" as data sources, building the "term system database of Traditional Chinese Drugs effect" to include the information of ID, terminology of effect, definition, depth, ID of parent, leaf node, ID of Synonym. And, the use of data pre-processing technology on the original data for data transformation, data cleaning, then based on the principle of national standards for data integration on the data sources, and further perfect their synonymous and conceptual level relations, establish the relatively normative database. Finally, we selected the data of traditional Chinese drugs effect of "Pharmacopoeia 2005 "to treat with standardization of term.ResultsWe established the normative "term system database of Traditional Chinese Drugs effect ", a total of 1,703 articles data. The use of the database as the background so that the data of Traditional Chinese Drugs effect standardized terminology rate of 70%.ConclusionThe experimental results show that eventually the data pre-processing technology is used in the study of Traditional Chinese Drugs effect. Unification and standardization can be very good, and to ensure the effect data scientific, reliable, providing authoritative data support for latter part of data analysis and data mining research.
