Objective: To study the existence style of HBcAg in the serum of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. Methods 1,Serum HBV immune complex was constructed by PEG( MV6000) precipitation method and was degenerated by pepsin digestion method; 2,to characterize the HBcAg compounds by western blot; 3,to stain the HBcAg compounds with lipophilicify dyestuff in agarose gel electrophoresis. Results It has demonstrated that HBcAg special immune complex existed in the serum of chronil hepatitis B patients by PEG precipitation,p epsin ,digestion and Western Blot analysis process; and proved that HBcAg is combined with lipid compounds from cell the membrane by prestain sample and agarose gel electrophoresis. Conclusion HBcAg special immune complex has been detected in the serum of chronil hepatitis B patients, and the HBcAg in CHB patients serum may exist as complex with lipo- compounds from cell the membrane. HBcAg exists as lipoprotein form in the serum of chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients , and to prove that the HBcAg expressed on membrane might be target antigen of immuno-attack in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients.
