Objective:To discuss of transrectal ultrasongraphy scores in BPH and therelationship between scores and TCM syndrome-types.Methods:Video connection was set up by transrectal ultrasound of American GE730 and Italiy DU-6 Ultrasound appararus.31 cases with benign prostatic hyperplasiawere examined to measure and score the length,width,thickness,the ratio ofendogrands and expglands,appearance ,border,echo , intravesical prostaticprotrusion,CDFI and RI of endogrands. Comparing history,PSA,I-PSS and analyzingby stastical merhods. And then analyzing the scores between the groups of deficiencyof kidney and downward flow of damp-heat.Results : It was positively correlation between transrectal ultrasongraphy scores andI-PSS(r=0.43,p<0.05). The deficiency of kidney's scores were higher than the groupof damp-heat. It was found statically different(p<0.05).Conclusion : Transrectal ultrasongraphy scores can be use diagnose and evaluateBPH.It was a valueable help for doctors .And the RI can help distinguishsyndrome-types of deficiency of kidney and downward flow of damp-heat.
