Objective To analysis serum IGF-1,VEGF-C and insulin level in ER positive and negative breast cancer patients's expressions and the relevance of lymph node metastasis statues.Methods Collected 50 cases of breast cancer and 30 cases of breast benign disease. Blood samples were collected before the surgry. Serum IGF-1,VEGF-C was measured by ELISA.Serum insulin, c-peptide was measured by RIA.Results 1.The levels of IGF-1,VEGF-C and serum insulin were singnificantely increased in ER positive breast cancer(P<0.05).The expression of VEGF-C were higher in the ER negative cases(P<0.05).2. The levels of IGF-1,VEGF-C were singnificantely increased in lymph node positive breast cancer(P<0.05).However,there were no correlations between IGF-1 and VEGF-C(P>0.05).There were no differences of insulin expression in lymph node positive and lymph node negative group(P>0.05).3.The comparison of IGF-1 and VEGF-C before and after operation has statistical signification(P<0.05).4. The comparison of IGF-1,VEGF-C and insulin in cancer cases and breast benign disease has statistical signification(P<0.05).5. All samples were classified as stageⅠ~Ⅱor stageⅢ,tumor size≥2cm or<2cm,age≤35 or>35.In stageⅢcases,the levels of IGF-1,VEGF-C were higher(P<0.05). A significant difference was found in the serum IGF-1 levels between the cases with tumor size>2cm and those<2cm (P<0.05).Conclusion 1. IGF-1,VEGF-C and serum insulin express different in ER positive and ER negative breast cancer.2.VEGF-C maybe play an independent part in invasive development and lymphatic metastasis of breast cancer.3. IGF-1,VEGF-C and serum insulin can promote the development of breast cancer. Operation could intervent the progress of breast cancer.4. IGF-1,VEGF-C and serum insulin could change in the early stage of breast cancer.
