Objective:To investigate the genetic association between the CSMD1 single polymorphisms(rs13275581,rs17323393,rs17326768,rs7830462,rs12675316)and laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma in Chinese Han population in Jilin region. Methods:FOR a case-control study, research objects were divided into two groups, including 70 laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma patients (case group) and 60 controls (control group). First quick extraction of the human genome DNA was carried out from leukocytes of people's peripheral blood with a chemical reagent,KI. Then, template DNA is amplified by PCR,use an electrophoresis with an agarose concentration of 2% to check whether the process of PCR was successful. The method of PCR-based restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis was used to define genotypic frequency and allele frequency。Comparation of genotypic frequency and allele frequency between these two groups was made with statistic check ofχ~2.Results: The genotypic frequencies of the 5 SNPs of CSMD1 did not deviate from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium in both case and control groups. The allelic and genotypic frequencies of the SNP rs13275581 has remarkable differences between case and control groups(P<0.05).And the other 4 SNPs(rs17323393,rs17326768,rs7830462,rs12675316)have no remarkable differences between case and control groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:(1)Each group has fulfilled Hardy-Weinberg's law of genetic equilibrium and hence has a community representative.(2) According to present samples, the SNP rs13275581 of CSMD1 gene has remarkable differences between case and control groups(P<0.05),it suggests that rs13275581 may be a susceptible factor in the development of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma in Chinese Han population in Jilin region.(3) According to present samples, the other 4 SNPs(rs17323393,rs17326768,rs7830462,rs12675316)have no association with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma in Chinese Han population in Jilin region. |
