Objectiveto investigate the useing of varies examination through analysising the clinical data of 38 patients of subacute combined degeneration.MethodAnalysis the blood routine test,serum-VitaminB12,electromyography,somatosensory evoked potential and MRI of the spinal cord from 38 cases of subacute combined degeneration of the spinal cord was presented.ResultsThe results showed that the old patients(>60 years) were multiple, anemia 13 cases,serum-VitaminB12 deficince 21 cases, abnormal EMG 38 cases,abnormal SEP 14 cases,23 cases spinal MRI are abnormal.23 cases having the deep sensory deficince, which is the common symptom and sign of SCD.ConclusionsThe old patients were maximum,deep sensory deficiency is the vital symptom.serum-vitaminB12 can be used for the evidence of SCD diagnosis.EMG,SEP are more sensitive for the diagonise.MRI findings correspond with demyelination of the dorsal column and lateral columns of the spinal cord in SCD consist consulting value.
