Objective:Acute upper respiratory tract infection is one of the most common infectious diseases, which is more often happend in winter and spring, and it is more sporadic, and abrupt climate change in small-scale epidemic. In this study, by collecting information on acute upper respiratory tract infections in Zhongshan region in winter and spring, summarize the TCM characteristics of this disease syndrome and discuss the distribution of syndrome features in winter and spring, in order to offer the reference of the acute viral upper respiratory tract infection syndromes of TCM in Zhongshan region in winter and spring, and provide clinical reference for the treatment of this disease in this arear.Methods:After the cultural heritage study, expert consult with and prepares the method of the information correction of the inquisition feedbaek, the observation table of TCM symdromes is designed;Collect the Chinese medical information of four physical examinations of 192 cases of acute viral upper respiratory tract infection from November 2009 to April 2010 in Zhongshan TCM Hospital emergency department. At last the SPSS 16.0 Statistical Package is used to establish the database of four physical examinations information and physical information.Using descriptive analysis, frequency analysis and cluster analysis, and analysis the distribution charecteristics of TCM symdromes of Acute viral upper respiratory tract infection.Result:In this study,192 cases are collected which are met the diagnostic criteria. Using the epidemiological principle and mathematical statistic, combined with the clinical, The TCM symdromes of acute viral upper respiratory tract infection in Zhongshan in winter and spring is divided into three types according with clinical:Wind-cold type, Wind-heat type and Mixed hot and cold type. Wind-cold type is 48 cases, accounting for 25%, Wind-heat type is 89 cases, accounting for 46.35%, Mixed hot and cold type is 55 cases accountting for 28.65%. To varying degrees, All classifications take dampness:Wind-cold type taking dampness is 18 cases, accounting for 37.50%, the wind-hit taking dampness is 54 cases, accounting for 60.67%, Mixed hot and cold type taking dampness is 26 cases of, accounting for 47.27%.Conclusion:The syndromes of TCM of acute viral upper respiratory tract infection in Zhongshan in winter and spring is divided into three types: Wind-cold type, Wind-heat type and Mixed hot and cold type. Syndrome-classification is mainly of Wind-heat type, secondly by Mixed cold and hot type, Wind-cold type is the least. Mixed cold and hot type is put out to enrich the research of the syndromes of TCM of cold. It initially reflects the syndrome distribution of TCM syndromes of acute viral upper respiratory tract infection in Zhongshan in winter and spring, so as to provide clinical reference for the treatment of this disease in Zhongshan.
