The Analysis Of Ordinary Parts And Causes In Nasal Septum Perforation

Objective:To analyze the parts and causes in Nasal septum perforation,and to further explore the related factors of nasal septum perforation and the nasal septum relationship between the cause and location, clinical practice, Prevention in clinical practice provide the basis for the occurrence of nasal septal perforation.Methods:Do the retrospective analysis of 57 cases with nasal septum Diagnosised by Guangxi Medical University, Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Clinical, include gender, age, cause, location and perforation size and associated analysis.Results:Causes of the nasal septum,30 cases of nasal septal perforation after nasal septal and after the perforation in 5 cases, Other reasons, such as special inflammation, nasal perforation after treatment (accompanied by syphilis, smallpox and inflammation, etc.),5 cases,2 cases of perforation caused by tumor invasion,2 cases of traumatic perforation, perforation of nasal foreign body in 2 cases of nasal packing after the perforation in 1 case,7 cases of primary perforation. Department of perforation sites were 47 cases of nasal septal cartilage, the bone in 10 cases. Perforation size:small perforation in 14 cases, moderate perforation in 15 cases,28 cases of large perforation; Male 43 cases,14 female; of which,20 years of age in 4 cases,43 cases of 20 to 60 years old,61 years old in 10 cases. The chi-square analysis of the reasons for different parts of the composition of perforation have differences,and perforation each other by the comparison, the nasal septum perforation after the perforation rate and other factors were statistically significant differences in the rate (P=0.000), while the other causes the difference between the perforation rates were not statistically significant. The perforation site and causes the chi-square analysis to know, after the traditional nasal septum perforation, perforation after chemotherapy, tumor invasion and perforation caused by perforation sites were correlated, and the P-values are 0.049,0.033 and 0.028; Killian's nasal septum perforation were located occurred after Cartilaginous nasal septum, perforation after chemotherapy were located osseous nasal septum, perforation due to tumor invasion were located osseous nasal septum.Septal perforation cause and position are with perforation size, sex, age group statistical analysis no correlation.Conclusion:Killian's nasal septum surgery is the main cause of nasal septum perforation,and nasal septum perforation sites were located cartilaginous.
