Clinical Observation On Acupoint Paste Of Kuijiening Plaster In Treating Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome Of Ulcerative Colitis And The Effect On Serum IL-4 Levels

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of Acupoint Paste of Kui Jie Ning Plaster in Treating Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency syndrome of Ulcerative Colitis patients and the effect of Serum IL-4 Levels.Methods:Select 60 cases of Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency syndrome of chronic relapsing ulcerative colitis (UC) in active and remission were randomly divided into the treatment group (Kui Jie Ning Acupoint Paste group) and the control group (SASP group) of 30 cases.Each group were given Kui Jie Ning Point Paste and oral SASP treatment for 60 days.We observed the clinical efficacy of a comprehensive pre and post treatment, the efficacy of mucosal lesions, mucosal pathological effects,TCM curative effects, the main symptom efficacy, and adverse reactions situation, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELLSA) testing the changs pre and post treatment in patients with serum IL-4, a comparative study, then statistical analysis by the application SPSS16.0 statistical software. Results:1. The TCM curative effects in treatment group were better than control group (P<0.05).The efficacy ofsingle TCM symptoms such as cold limbs, lumbar acid, knees soft, abdominal distension are more effective than control group(P<0.05). The comprehensive clinical efficacy, the efficacy of mucosal lesions and mucosal therapeutic are Equivalent beteen the two group(P> 0.05).2. There were significant difference in the serum IL-4 of between pre and post treatment in treatment group and control group (P<0.05). After treatment,the level of serum IL-4 of treatment group compared with control group significant difference (P <0.05).3.1 cases appear site skin lesions in the treatment group between pre and post treatment,2cases appear adverse reactions in the control group,They are both treated properly and getting better,they did not affect the treatment.Conclusion:The Acupoint Paste of Kuijie ning Plaster can improve clinical efficacy of the Spleen-Kidney Yang Deficiency syndrome of ulcerative colitis (UC),relieve symptoms,reduce adverse reactions and improve immunity.
