| Purpose:Through clinical research, the author analyzed the treatment of influenza(syndrome of exterior cold and interior heat) with Chaiban Decoction and its influence on serum IL-2 content and IFN-r content in patients, which provides clinical evidence for clinical medication and lays the foundation for development of the new influenza virus infection preparations.Methods:79 patients who were diagnosed as influenza fever by The Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into two groups:40 cases in treatment group;39 cases in control group.Treatment group was given the Chaiban Decoction and control group was given the Lianhuaqingwen Capsule for clinical observation of three days on treatment.20 cases were drowed randomly from each of two groups for taking a test of cytokine.Another 10 cases in healthy normal group were settled for detective factor. Three groups were respectively detected the content of IL-2 and IFN-r in serum then compared. Results:The curative rate of treatment group was 75%,and its total effective rate was 95%.While for the control group, the curative rate was 53.8%, and the total effective rate was 76.9%. The curative rate of treatment group was higher than the control group's.The differences were statistically significant (p<0.05).In cure of fever, chill,headache, sore throat and body sleepy, treatment group was superior to control group. Antifebrile time of treatment group was shorter than control group obviously. The difference was statistically significant (p<0.05).After treatment, the contents of IL-2 and IFN-r in serum of patients were higher than those before,The difference was statistically significant (p<0.05).Conclusion:Chaiban Decoction can obviously relieve influenza symptoms,shorten antifebrile time of influenza patients, raise the contents of IL-2 and IFN-r in serum of influenza patients,adjust the immune function and enhance immunity.
