Diaphoresis Clinical Study On Treatment Of Fever Caused By Exogenous Pathogens By Qing Dynasty

Based on the clinical experiences of supervisor Pro.Zhou Ping' an, this dissertation brings forward the viewpoint that relieving the exterior -clearing the interior (RE-CI) method is a crucial method in treating exogenous febricity (EF), and reports the clinicial observation of the effect of the corresponding formula Ganmao jiere heji (compound for relieving fever due to catching cold,Dongfang hospital produces)This dissertation composes the following parts: summary of modern mechanism of fever, literal documents of exogenous febrile diseases (EFD), analysis of RE-CI method for cold diseases and clinic research report. The summary is about the present understanding and progress of fever, aiming to deepen the insight into the mechanism of the symptom梖ever. The literal documents fall into two sections, the first section lists the major recordation of EF(D), elucidating the spiral perception of EF(D), based on which the viewpoint is brought up. The second section gives a brief introduction of cold diseases and an elaborate account of the definition, development and application of RE-CI method,which leads to the ananylsis of the basis of using this method for cold diseases. It shows that RE-CI method is a crucial one in the treatment of EF, and that it possesses the dual function of expelling evils and retarding progressing of disease to more morbid situation.The clinical research reports treatments and effects of 60 cases randomly divided into two groups with EF of cold: controling group using Ganmao qingre keli (the granule for clearing fever due to catching cold,Tongrentang produces), the treatment group using the Ganmao jiere heji (compound for relieving fever due to catching cold,Dongfang hospital produces), three days is a course. The result shows that the total effective rate of experimental group of defeverensce is 93.33 %, the effective rate is 83.33 %, which proves the effectivity of RE-CI method in clinic.The last part explains the formula and herbs of RE-CI method by Pro. Zhou.This research indicates that a satisfactory effect will be got if the core mechanism of the disease is grasped by using an integrated treatment of EF(D), taking the time and weather into consideration too. Thus, it proves RE-CI method as a crucial method in the treatment of EF both in theory and clinical practice.
