The Clinical Observation Of Jing Fang Decoction On Child Patients With Infantile Fever In Syndrome Of Superficies Cold And Interior Heat

Objective: to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Jing Fang Decoction on child patients with infantile fever in syndrome of superficies cold and interior heat.Methods: using the method of random controlled study, 80 child patients with infantile fever in syndrome of superficies cold and interior heat who meet the inclusion criterion were divided randomly into observation group and control group, then were given Jing Fang Decoction and ribavirin granules for 3 days. The body temperature changes(completely cooling time), disease total effect, improvement of clinical symptoms and signs and safety indicators were evaluated in two groups before and after treatment.Results: Case completion: finalized cases of the observation group and the control group finalized cases is 36 and 33 cases, respectively. antipyretic efficacy: the complete cooling time of observation group is 24.97±5.12 h, the complete cooling time of control group is 33.87±3.16 h, compared with the control group, the completely anti-febrile time in the observation group was significantly shorter(P < 0.05). Disease total effect: the total efficiency of the observation group was 88.89%, control group total effectiveness 78.79%, compared with each other, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05). TCM syndrome integral: two groups can improve the children with TCM syndrome, but Jing Fang Decoction is better than ribavirin granules, in addition, except for pharyngeal swelling, the single syndrome such as fever, chills, adiaphoresis, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, expectoration, fatigue, thirst and bodily pain were significantly improved than ribavirin granules(P < 0.05). Safety: during the treatment period, 2 cases occurred diarrhea in the observation group, 1 cases occurred nausea diarrhea in the control group and other safety indicators of two groups were normal.Conclusions: the clinical efficacy Jing Fang Decoction on child patients with infantile fever in syndrome of superficies cold and interior heat was certain. With lasting antipyretic effect and lower temperature stable, Jing Fang Decoction can improve the clinical syndrome and signs, in addition, with good safety, it is worth of clinical application.
