Since the 20th century, with the progress of science and technology and the rapid development of China's medical and health services, people's living standard is rising and people have a higher demand in medical and health care. However there are still medical ethics problems, medical disputes and other issues in our current medical education and medical and heal practice, for instance: over-reliance on medical equipment and other technical means; medical education and medical practice's departure from the humanities; ignoring to the fundamental purpose of medical desalination etc. In addition, with the development of medicine, medical mode has been changing, from the simple biomedical mode to the bio-psycho-social mode (science - humanities mode). The changes challenge our medical education system and the reform of the health care system. Medicine is no longer purely natural science, but rather an integrated system of natural science, social science and humanities. Only the combination of medicine technology education and humanities education can help medical education truly realize the purpose of modern medicine: "Preventing diseases and injuries, promoting and maintaining health; lifting those caused by the disease; caring and curing sick persons, caring for those who can not be cured; avoiding premature death, pursuiting euthanasia. So it is very necessary to strengthen the humanities education in medical education. This paper is divided into three parts:The first part: It analyses connotation and necessity that tall duty medical science life humanity accomplishment educates. It carries out a boundary on the study range of this paper, expounds the connotation among the humanity, humanity accomplishment and humanity accomplishment education, analyses in depth reinforcing the necessity of humanity accomplishment educating in medical colleges. This is some of the major right of this article has defined the scope of the study to explain the humanistic, cultural literacy and humanistic quality of education content, in-depth analysis of the vocational medical schools need to strengthen the humanistic quality of education. Strengthening of medical humanities is the need for literacy education: medical industry's peculiarities; medicine itself has a cultural property, Humanities literacy education is an essential element of medical education; medical model and the concept of change in medical education for medical students called for the strengthening vocational education, the humanistic qualities; medical practice, medical ethics issues highlighted the urgent need to strengthen the medical humanities literacy education. The second part: This part of the humanistic quality of vocational medical students conducted a survey analysis and research, according to the author's research shows that the current vocational medical schools in poor quality of medical humanities education, vocational medical student's humanistic quality lower level, this situation will seriously affect the level of the medical team, are not well to meet the social development of the medical education requirements. This is specifically manifested in: the objective of fostering humanistic quality education, lack of clarity; humanities courses set unreasonable; Medical Humanities Teacher degree of specialization is not high; medical humanities teachers a clear understanding of the purpose of teaching, teaching methods, single; campus environment and cultural connotations of deprivation, lack of appeal. There main reasons for the above problems are: vocational medical schools are not allowed to self-positioning; Vocational School of Medicine medical proofreading the lack of adequate understanding of human values; Vocational Medical Colleges inadequate funding; vocational medical schools in cultural awareness apathy.The third part: in the higher vocational education in medical college humanities problems and reasons of the research is proposed on the basis of improving the level of medical students' humane quality education, should change medicine ideas, set up new medical talents training mode, reform the course system and the change of the training mode, short-range humanistic education in medicine will be teaching and practice.In short, the status quo and development trend of medical education require strengthening the medical humanities education. Our vocational medical schools humanities education is the weak link in medical education, there are many problems. We have to regard medical humanities education as a real accomplishment scholarship to study and make the subjects interdisciplinary and integration, continuously innovate and improve the teaching methods, enrich teaching body of medical humanities, and effectively improve vocational medical schools in the level of cultural literacy education.
