Clinical Research On The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis By Rub Together Method Massage

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and explore the mechanism of treatment for knee osteoarthritis by Rub together method massage.Approach:The randomized and comparative approach are employed in the clinical research, which observes 60 medical cases of knee osteoarthritis(one side),covering the groups adopting Rub together method massage (treatment group) and antihyperosteogeny pills therapy(comparative group) with 30 cases in each group.After two courses of treatment, the variation of C-reaction protein in the blood of two groups with knee osteoarthritis, the comparison of the simplified McGill ache assessments before and after the treatment, and the variation of the assessment standard of the effectiveness(JOA)of the treatment for knee osteoarthritis will be observed.Results:1. The effectiveness of the two groups is as follows:93.33% for the treatment group and 73.33% for the comparative group. There is striking difference between the two groups (P<0.05), the treatment group is superior to the comparative group.2. There is striking difference (P<0.05) of C-reaction protein in the blood of two groups before and after the treatment, there is striking difference between the two groups (P<0.05), the treatment group is superior to the comparative group.3. There is striking difference (P<0.05) between the two groups in the simplified McGill ache assessments and the assessment standard of the effectiveness(JOA)of the treatment for knee osteoarthritis before and after the treatment, there is striking difference between the two groups (P<0.05), the treatment group is superior to the comparative group. Conclusions:1. It is proved that the C-reaction protein is adopted as an indicator for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. The Rub together method massage therapy decreases the content of C-reaction protein in the blood of knee osteoarthritis so as to impair the harm to the knee joint, improve the clinical condition and relieve the sickness.2. Both the Rub together method massage therapy and antihyperosteogeny pills therapy decrease the simplified McGill ache assessments and the assessment standard of the effectiveness(JOA)of the treatment for knee osteoarthritis, which proves that it is a very efficient method by means of Rub together method massage therapy or antihyperosteogeny pills therapy.3. There is no striking adverse interaction related with this therapy after the treatment of Rub together method massage therapy. It is the effective method to treat knee osteoarthritis with security and efficiency and without side effect, it is worthwhile to put it into clinic.
